LEDVANCE
The challenge: LEDVANCE GmbH needed an overall concept for the launch of its brand and for an innovative introduction of the new SMART+ product family. In this context, a possibility of decentralized training of the various dealers and employees of electrical and home improvement stores was sought. A multilingual knowledge base as an additional feature should complete the concept.
The solution: Based on product data sheets and information on the technologies, eLearning modules were initially created which, integrated into a specially programmed website, function as an online academy. Store employees can access their individual eLearning content in a targeted and step-by-step manner via personal log-in. The overall progress of the online courses is presented in a comprehensible way. In addition to explanations of individual LEDVANCE products, employees are also taught general concepts and technologies from the smart home sector to guarantee a general understanding of how SMART+ works. A WIKI available at any time as a compendium on the products was also set up.
In parallel to the German version, localized versions of the online academy were developed for France, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom.
